The DUtrain Training Center in Duisburg
We conduct our training sessions and –events at our offices in the Businesspark Niederrhein in Duisburg.
Course, Induction Session or Training Assessment:
In our training sessions we simulate multiple joined electrical networks with different conductor- and operating stations and their connectives in various states of operation. This is crucial for quality assurance, error elimination and network restoration.
The Leitstellenensemble (pictured) can comprise a Leitstellenhierarchie nach Netzebenen or multiple network- or power station leitstellen as used in the trainees’ workplace.
During a training session we simulate
- Open communication between [Leitstellen] where the lead operators communicate directly with each other and observe how their colleague is reacting at the other [Leitstelle]. This is even more important today as network and power station’s controls are separate.
- Limited communication via phone between the lead operators.

Since early 2002 we use the DUtrain PowerSystemHandler
(PSH) for simluations. The PSH nowadays replaces the simulator seen on
the pictures above. Below a picture of the new PSH simulator.
